Global education company launching an android tablet costing Rs 5,000 for Indian Students. International education company AcrossWorld along with Delhi-based Go-Tech would launch a tablet, called ATabin, in the second week of March.
The seven-inch android touch screen tablet will have a three-year free access to education technology platform ‘EducationBridge’ which allows teachers, students and educational institutions to use a variety of content and educational resources through a software called open source.
According to company officials, about a dozen schools and colleges from various Indian cities such as Delhi, Kanpur, Allahabad, Rourkela and Gaujarala have indicated keen interest in the tablet.

Powered by a 1.1 GHz processor.
ATabin tablet Memory:
512 of MB RAM.
The tab comes with 2 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 16 GB.
Connectivity:
Wi-Fi connectivity, and an external 3G USB Dongle.

Seven-inch touch screen.
